...Maha is the best! Not only did she give my temperamental hair a fabulous cut, but she also took the time to walk me through how to take care of it. I have stick straight, super-fine hair that shows any imperfection, but my hair still looked flawless for weeks after. I'm not too skilled with the blowdrier, either, but she was great about teaching me Hair Drying 101 and showing me how to get some volume. Awesome!

And did I mention that the cut was fantastic?

Well, I have now had THREE haircuts by Maha at Sproos and each one is better than the next. I recently went in wanting to experiment with bangs but I was nervous. Maha was supportive and made them look beautiful, just right for my bang-defiant hair.

I highly recommend Maha for any of your hair-cutting adventures!

... After moving to the area from out of town not too long ago, I have been looking for the right stylist for the last 8 months. Frustrating to say the least... until now. I've gone to 6 differerent stylists since I got here and no one seemed to get it right. But, now that I have found Maha, I will be coming back for sure!

Maha told me that she has been in the industry for 3 or 4 years, but you can absolutely tell that she was born to do this. I told her what I thought would look good on me and after listening to me she told me that we might want to go in a different direction because of my face shape and features. I had never thought of the cut she suggested, and she was absolutely right. It looks really good, and my wife thinks so too! It's really cool to have a new haircut that is more cutting edge. It makes me feel younger, and I feel more confident.

As far as the Salon goes, it's a nice friendly place in a very convenient location in downtown San Anselmo. The atmosphere is laid-back and comfortable. It's next to marin coffee roasters if you want coffee before or after, and the staff was helpful as well. This place is definitely for me. Give Maha a call, you won't regret it.
